Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Clinician Has The Necessary Medical Knowledge And Training To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.

  • Residency Training: Completion Of An Accredited Residency Program In A Relevant Specialty, Such As Internal Medicine Or Pediatrics, Is Necessary To Become A Clinician At Penn Medicine. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Received Specialized Training And Is Prepared To Handle Complex Medical Cases.

  • Board Certification: Board Certification In The Relevant Specialty Is Highly Preferred For This Role. This Demonstrates That The Clinician Has Met The Rigorous Standards Set By A Recognized Medical Board And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Practice Medicine At A High Level.

  • Clinical Experience: At Least 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience Is Typically Required For A Clinician Position At Penn Medicine. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Clinical Practice And Is Able To Handle A Wide Range Of Patient Cases.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Colleagues, And Other Healthcare Professionals, Are Essential For Success As A Clinician At Penn Medicine. This Includes The Ability To Listen Actively, Show Empathy, And Explain Complex Medical Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner.
