As a Teacher's Aide, you will have the opportunity to support our faculty in creating an engaging and enriching learning environment for our students.   1. Assist faculty in the preparation and execution of lesson plans and classroom activities.
  2. Provide support to students during class time, including answering questions and providing additional guidance.
  3. Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students.
  4. Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  5. Assist with grading and record-keeping as needed.
  6. Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  7. Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and parents/guardians.
  8. Help to set up and clean up classroom materials and resources.
  9. Monitor student behavior and address any issues that may arise.
  10. Serve as a role model for students and demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and procedures.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  14. Collaborate with other teacher's aides and faculty to share ideas and resources.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Requirement For A Part-Time Teacher's Aide At The University Of Pennsylvania Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Handle Tasks Efficiently.

  • Experience Working With Students: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Some Prior Experience Working With Students, Preferably In An Academic Setting. This Could Include Tutoring, Mentoring, Or Volunteering In A School Or Educational Program.
