- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the university's mailroom, including sorting, distributing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Develop and implement efficient and effective mail delivery processes and procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of mailroom supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with campus departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages
- Train and supervise mailroom staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns with staff
- Coordinate and manage the space planning and layout of the mailroom, ensuring optimal use of space and resources
- Maintain accurate records and data related to mailroom operations, including budget and usage reports
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses
- Ensure compliance with all university policies and procedures related to mailroom operations
- Serve as a liaison between the mailroom and other campus departments, addressing any concerns or issues that arise
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance customer service
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in space planning and mailroom operations.
Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Space Planning And Operations, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Facilities Management Principles, Including Space Utilization, Building Codes, And Safety Regulations.
Proficiency In Computer Applications And Software Related To Space Planning And Operations, Such As Autocad, Archibus, And Microsoft Office.
