  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for campus infrastructure maintenance and enhancement.
  2. Oversee all engineering projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget.
  3. Manage a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to identify and implement sustainable energy solutions for the campus.
  5. Conduct regular evaluations of existing energy systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  6. Stay current on industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to engineering and energy planning.
  7. Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
  8. Communicate effectively with university leadership, stakeholders, and community members to provide updates on projects and initiatives.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  10. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the department.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for project procurement and management.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all engineering and energy planning activities.
  13. Participate in relevant committees and task forces to represent the department's interests and contribute to university-wide initiatives.
  14. Conduct regular training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  15. Other duties as assigned by university leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Engineering Or Energy Management: The Director Of Engineering And Energy Planning Should Possess A Graduate Degree In Engineering, Energy Management, Or A Related Field To Demonstrate A Deep Understanding Of The Technical Aspects Of Energy Planning And Management.

  • Relevant Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Engineering Or Energy Planning, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Energy Projects And Implementing Sustainable Energy Solutions.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Position, The Director Of Engineering And Energy Planning Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Manage A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Make Strategic Decisions For The Department.
