  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud, HPC, and web services strategy for the university.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the successful execution of the strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, HPC, and web services and make recommendations for their implementation at the university.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students, to understand their needs and ensure that the services provided meet their requirements.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all cloud, HPC, and web services, including data protection and disaster recovery plans.
  • Oversee the budget for cloud, HPC, and web services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to leverage their resources and expertise.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the university's cloud, HPC, and web services, making improvements and adjustments as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and impact of the services.
  • Serve as a thought leader and advocate for the use of technology in education and research, promoting the university's commitment to innovation and excellence.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Cloud Computing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Cloud Computing Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud Platform. They Should Also Have Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Managing Cloud-Based Solutions.

  • Proficiency In High-Performance Computing (Hpc): As The Director Of Cloud, Hpc, And Web Services, The Candidate Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge And Experience In Hpc Technologies, Including Parallel Computing, Cluster Management, And Job Scheduling.
