  1. Manage and coordinate all aspects of clinical research studies, including but not limited to participant recruitment, data collection, and study protocols.
  2. Collaborate with renowned physicians and researchers to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.
  3. Screen and enroll eligible participants in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with study participants, providing support and addressing any concerns or questions.
  5. Monitor and record study data accurately and in a timely manner.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized study documentation, including informed consent forms, study protocols, and regulatory submissions.
  8. Communicate effectively with study team members, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise.
  9. Participate in data analysis and interpretation, contributing to the development of research publications.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current developments and best practices in clinical research, incorporating them into study protocols and procedures.
  11. Train and mentor new team members as needed.
  12. Contribute to study budget planning and management.
  13. Represent the University of Pennsylvania and the clinical research team in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Field: A Clinical Research Coordinator At University Of Pennsylvania Must Have A Strong Educational Background In A Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Public Health.

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Research Regulations And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Regulations And Guidelines Related To Clinical Research, Including Fda Regulations, Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines, And Institutional Review Board (Irb) Requirements.

  • Previous Experience In A Clinical Research Setting: The University Of Pennsylvania Is Seeking Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Research Setting, Preferably In An Academic Or Hospital Environment.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills: As A Clinical Research Coordinator, The Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects, Communicate With Various Stakeholders, And Maintain Detailed Records Is Crucial.

  • Proficiency In Data Management And Analysis: The University Of Pennsylvania Is Looking For A Candidate Who Is Proficient In Data Management And Analysis, With Experience In Using Electronic Data Capture Systems And Statistical Software Such As Spss Or Sas.
