  1. Conduct statistical analysis on large datasets related to ophthalmology research projects.

  4. Interpret and communicate statistical results to a diverse audience, including researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
  5. Stay current with advancements in statistical methods and apply them to research projects.

  8. Provide guidance and training to junior staff members and students on statistical methods and data analysis.
  9. Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the overall research strategy.
  10. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive research data.
  11. Keep detailed records and prepare reports on research findings.
  12. Identify and troubleshoot any issues with data collection or statistical analyses.
  13. Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through presentations at conferences and publications in scientific journals.
  14. Maintain a strong understanding of relevant regulations and policies related to data management and protection.
  15. Represent the department at conferences, workshops, and other professional events.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Or Ph.d. Degree In Biostatistics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Statistical Analysis And Data Management, Preferably In The Field Of Ophthalmology Or Related Healthcare Research.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Statistical Software Such As Sas, R, Or Stata.

  • Experience With Clinical Trial Design And Analysis, Including Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Statistical Concepts To Non-Statisticians And Work In A Multidisciplinary Team Environment.
