  1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for global events that aligns with the goals and values of the university.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, and logistics.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the success of each event and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  4. Lead a team of event staff and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure a high level of performance and efficiency.
  5. Create and maintain detailed event timelines and manage all event-related tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  6. Conduct thorough research and stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve the university's events and keep them relevant and engaging.
  7. Develop and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and track expenses to ensure events are completed within budget.
  8. Work closely with marketing and communication teams to develop promotional strategies and materials for events, ensuring maximum participation and engagement.
  9. Serve as the main point of contact for event inquiries and provide excellent customer service to all event participants.
  10. Collaborate with international partners and organizations to expand the university's global reach and attract a diverse audience to events.
  11. Evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for improvement, including identifying new event opportunities.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of the university's mission, values, and brand to ensure events align with and promote the university's image.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Planning, Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Event Planning And Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Global Setting.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Executing Large-Scale International Events With Diverse Audiences.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including Budgeting, Vendor Management, And Timeline Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Variety Of Stakeholders And Manage A Team.
