We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Research, Prospect Management at the University of Pennsylvania.   1. Conduct research to identify potential donors with the capacity and interest to support our research initiatives.

  3. Work closely with university leadership and colleagues across departments to identify funding priorities and develop compelling cases for support.
  4. Create and maintain a database of prospect information and interactions.
  5. Monitor and track progress of prospect relationships and provide regular updates to university leadership.
  6. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Collaborate with fundraising and communication teams to develop targeted messaging and materials for prospects.
  8. Plan and execute donor cultivation events and meetings.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, faculty, and community members.
  10. Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in prospect management and fundraising.
  11. Train and mentor staff members on prospect management techniques.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all prospect interactions.
  13. Represent the university at external events and conferences.
  14. Prepare reports and presentations for university leadership and board members.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve prospect management processes and strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business, Data Analytics, Or Research.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Prospect Management Or Research, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Proficiency In Database Management And Data Analysis.
