
Manager of Network Services
The Manager of Network Services provides leadership and operational direction for the Network Services unit within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The Manager is responsible for oversight and direct management of technical staff, ensuring procedures and processes are in alignment with support requirements and agreed upon service levels, communicating service-impacting events, and for the management and planning of network services deliverables. The manager also contributes to project planning which includes business analysis, resource management, and communication. The Manager is also responsible for providing appropriate metrics and reports for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of services and to inform improvement plans.
A minimum of 8 years of related professional experience in network administration
4 years of related supervisory experience supervising staff in a technical environment.
Knowledge of structured cabling systems
Experience working with network architectural design teams
CCNP certification or equivalent preferred
