1. Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the management and maintenance of the university's facilities and spaces.
2. Oversee the planning, design, and construction of new facilities and renovations, ensuring they align with the university's mission and goals.
3. Manage the budget and resources for the department, including identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
4. Collaborate with other university departments and external partners to ensure the integration of facilities and spaces with academic and administrative needs.
5. Lead and mentor a team of facilities and space management professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
