  2. Guide students through the admissions process, including application submission, document collection, and decision notification.
  3. Conduct individual advising sessions with prospective students to understand their goals and help them choose the right program for their academic and career aspirations.
  4. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the graduate school admissions process, including admission requirements, deadlines, and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with various departments and faculty members to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process for all prospective students.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to attract and engage potential students, including attending recruitment events and fairs.
  7. Utilize data and analytics to identify trends and make recommendations for improving the admissions process and increasing enrollment.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in graduate school admissions to continuously enhance the advising and support provided to students.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the university and prospective students, providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships.
  10. Assist with the development of marketing materials and communications targeted towards prospective graduate students.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of all interactions with students, including advising sessions, application materials, and communication.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to graduate admissions.
  13. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to graduate admissions and higher education.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Higher Education, Counseling, Or Communication.

  • Previous Experience In Admissions Or Advising At The Graduate Level, Preferably At A Large University.

  • Knowledge Of University Of Michigan's Graduate Programs And Admissions Processes.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Support A Diverse Student Population.
