  1. Assist with patient care: As a Dental Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist our dentists and hygienists in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. This includes preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with procedures.
  2. Perform administrative tasks: In addition to patient care, you will also be responsible for performing various administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance claims.
  3. Communicate with patients: You will be the first point of contact for our patients, therefore excellent communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for greeting patients, explaining procedures, and answering any questions they may have.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization: In order to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for our patients and staff, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in treatment rooms, common areas, and equipment.
  5. Assist with training: As part of a teaching institution, you may be responsible for assisting in the training of dental students. This may include demonstrating techniques, providing feedback, and answering questions.
  6. Follow proper safety protocols: It is crucial to follow proper safety protocols in a dental setting to protect both patients and staff. You will be responsible for adhering to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  7. Collaborate with team members: As a member of our dental team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members, including dentists, hygienists, and other dental assistants. This will ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  8. Maintain inventory: You will be responsible for keeping track of dental supplies and equipment and ensuring that they are well-stocked. This may also include ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
  9. Adhere to professional standards: As a representative of our dental school, it is essential that you adhere to professional standards and maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification Or Degree In Dental Assisting From An Accredited Program.

  • Previous Experience Working As A Dental Assistant, Preferably In A University Or Clinical Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Faculty, And Staff.
