  1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
  2. Assist in monitoring and documenting patients' vital signs, intake and output, and other important health information.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  4. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  5. Respond to patients' needs and concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  6. Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and organized.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  8. Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  10. Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  11. Attend and participate in ongoing training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
  14. Report any changes in patients' condition to healthcare professionals.
  15. Respect and promote patients' rights and dignity.
  16. Handle medical equipment and supplies appropriately.
  17. Assist with transporting patients to different areas of the hospital.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Candidates For This Position Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Medical Assistant (Ma) Certification: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Current Cna Or Ma Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Providing Basic Patient Care.

  • Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Environment, Such As A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility, Is Preferred For This Role.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: The Ability To Provide Basic Life Support, Including Cpr, Is Required For This Position. Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification Or Be Willing To Obtain One Prior To Starting The Job.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Nursing Care Technicians Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Interpersonal Skills, Including Empathy And Compassion, Are Essential For This Role.
