  1. Provide exceptional care to patients by assisting with medical procedures, taking vital signs, and administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Ged: Candidates Must Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Medical Assistant Position At University Of Kentucky.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma): The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Cma Certification From An Accredited Program, Demonstrating Knowledge And Proficiency In The Field Of Medical Assisting.

  • Experience In A Clinical Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Such As A Doctor's Office Or Hospital, Is Preferred For This Position. This Experience Shows That The Candidate Is Familiar With Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Patient Care.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records (Emr): University Of Kentucky Utilizes Electronic Medical Records, So Candidates Must Have Experience And Proficiency In Using Emr Systems.
