
Facilities Mechanic
Performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the repairing, servicing, and maintaining of buildings and electrical, mechanical and plumbing equipment. Inspects, maintains and makes operating repairs on electrical equipment and wiring, plumbing fixtures and pipe, heating, air conditioning and ventilating equipment. Repair and maintain plumbing and fixtures (faucets, toilets, showers, sinks, drains and drain lines), plaster traps, grease traps, maintain centrifugal pumps and associated equipment. Repair and maintain autoclave, sterilizing and related equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all equipment. Repair and maintain water heaters and water supply.
Must possess a basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, maintenance of steam and mechanical equipment
Must have four years of work experience
Previous experience with large sewer rodders and experience soldering large pipes
Previous experience in Healthcare Facility Operations
