  1. Develop and implement educational programs and resources related to health and well-being for the community.
  2. Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs.
  3. Create partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance program reach and impact.
  4. Collaborate with team members to develop innovative and evidence-based health education initiatives.
  5. Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in health promotion and education.
  6. Provide guidance and support to community members seeking resources and information on healthy living.
  7. Plan and coordinate events, workshops, and other educational activities to promote health and well-being.
  8. Utilize data and feedback to continuously improve program offerings and outcomes.
  9. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all community members, regardless of background or ability.
  10. Communicate effectively with diverse audiences through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and presentations.
  11. Manage and maintain program budgets, reports, and records.
  12. Serve as a resource and advocate for health and wellness within the community.
  13. Represent the University of Delaware and its Extension program in a professional and positive manner.
  14. Stay informed on relevant policies and regulations related to health and wellness programming.
  15. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in health education and program implementation.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Health Promotion, Public Health, Or Community Health.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Health And Well-Being Related Role, Preferably In A University Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Health And Wellness Trends And Evidence-Based Best Practices.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Collaborate With Diverse Populations.

  • Experience In Program Development, Implementation, And Evaluation, As Well As Grant Writing And Budget Management.
