Welcome to the University of Delaware! We are currently seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Director of the Office of National Fellowship. As the Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our nationally recognized fellowship program.   1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Office of National Fellowship, in alignment with the university's goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee and manage all aspects of the national fellowship program, including recruitment, selection, and support of fellowship applicants.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding national fellowship opportunities.
  4. Mentor and guide students through the application process, providing feedback and support to enhance their chances of success.
  5. Foster relationships with external partners, including fellowship organizations and donors, to expand opportunities for students.
  6. Conduct research and stay up to date on national fellowship trends and best practices, incorporating this knowledge into the program.
  7. Collaborate with university departments and offices to promote and support national fellowship opportunities for students.
  8. Manage the budget and resources of the Office of National Fellowship, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with past fellowship recipients to support their continued success and involvement with the program.
  10. Participate in university events and activities to promote the Office of National Fellowship and its impact on students.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates to university leadership on the progress and success of the national fellowship program.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and impact of the Office of National Fellowship.
  13. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as ethical standards in the field of national fellowships.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Managing And Administering National Fellowship Programs, Preferably At A Higher Education Institution.

  • Strong Understanding Of The National Fellowship Landscape And Trends, Including Knowledge Of Various Funding Organizations And Application Processes.

  • Excellent Leadership Skills, With Proven Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Oversee Multiple Projects And Deadlines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Students, Faculty, And External Partners.

  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Or A Related Discipline.
