  1. Develop and implement communication strategies that effectively promote and showcase the achievements and advancements of the Engineering department to both internal and external audiences.
  2. Create engaging and persuasive messaging to attract prospective students, faculty, and partners to the university's engineering programs.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and generate content for newsletters, press releases, website, social media, and other communication channels.
  4. Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception of the university's engineering programs, and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Serve as the university's spokesperson for engineering-related matters and maintain positive relationships with media outlets.
  6. Plan and organize events, such as conferences, seminars, and open houses, to promote the engineering department and its achievements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, industry professionals, and other key stakeholders to enhance the reputation and visibility of the engineering department.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to identify opportunities for the university to showcase its engineering expertise.
  9. Provide support to faculty and students in promoting their research and projects through various communication channels.
  10. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication materials.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Communications Role, Preferably In The Engineering Industry.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To A Non-Technical Audience.

  • Proficiency In Various Communication Tools And Software, Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, And Social Media Platforms.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
