  1. Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of finance, including creating syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment methods.
  2. Conduct high-quality research in the field of finance and publish results in reputable academic journals.
  3. Mentor and advise students in their academic and career pursuits in finance.
  4. Participate in departmental and university meetings, committees, and other activities to contribute to the academic community.
  5. Stay current with developments and advancements in the field of finance, and incorporate them into teaching and research.
  6. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to enhance the academic experience for students.
  8. Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of students in the finance program.
  9. Engage in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching and research skills.
  10. Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating ethical and professional behavior in all aspects of the job.
  11. Represent the university and the finance department at conferences, workshops, and other academic events.
  12. Contribute to the university's reputation and standing through active involvement in professional organizations and community service.
  13. Fulfill administrative responsibilities, such as grading, record-keeping, and responding to student inquiries in a timely manner.
  14. Foster relationships with industry professionals and organizations to enhance internship and job opportunities for students.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the university's mission and core values, and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In Finance Or A Related Field, With A Strong Academic Record And Publications In Reputable Journals.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Teaching Experience In Finance Courses At The College Or University Level.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In A Specific Area Of Finance, Such As Corporate Finance, Investments, Or Financial Management.
