- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on I&C and electrical distribution systems at the University of Colorado Boulder.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of critical infrastructure on campus.
- Collaborate with other team members to effectively plan and execute projects.
- Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for I&C and electrical distribution systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

- Assist with the development and implementation of new systems or upgrades.
- Provide training and support to other technicians and staff members as needed.
- Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors as necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs.
- Keep supervisor informed of any issues or concerns.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Installation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting Of Instrumentation And Control (I&C) Systems And Electrical Distribution Systems.
Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Electrical Principles, Codes, And Standards, Including National Electrical Code (Nec) And International Building Code (Ibc).
Proficiency In Interpreting Electrical And Instrumentation Diagrams, Schematics, And Technical Manuals.
Demonstrated Experience In Programming And Configuring Plcs, Dcs, And Other Control Systems.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team To Identify And Resolve Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
