Job Description

The University of Colorado Boulder is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cinema A/V Specialist who is ready to take their career to the next level. We are seeking a creative and collaborative individual who is passionate about audio/visual technology and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and skills in the areas of cinema technology, audio/video production, and post-production. They will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of lighting, audio, and video systems within the university’s cinema space.The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in cinema audio/visual technology and have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work on projects independently and with a team. The Cinema A/V Specialist must have knowledge of post-production processes and related software and hardware, and have the ability to guide and advise customers on the use of cinema and video equipment. This position requires the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and the successful candidate must be able to complete physical tasks. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
