  8. Stay current with research and trends in the field of equity, bilingualism, and biliteracy in education.
  9. Participate in departmental and university service activities.
  10. Represent the department and university in professional and community settings.
  11. Contribute to the university's mission of creating a more inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
  12. Serve as a role model for colleagues and students in promoting equity and diversity in education.

Job Qualifications
  • A Ph.d. In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Linguistics, Or Bilingual/Bicultural Studies.

  • A Strong Record Of Research And Publications In The Areas Of Equity, Bilingualism, And Biliteracy.

  • Experience Teaching And Mentoring Graduate Students In These Subject Areas.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Promoting Diversity And Inclusion In Academic Settings.

  • Experience And Proficiency In Bilingual And/Or Biliteracy Practices And Pedagogy, Preferably In A Bilingual Or Multilingual Community.
