- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses in finance to students.
- Conduct research in the field of finance and publish findings in academic journals.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career related matters.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and meetings.
- Stay current with developments in the field of finance and incorporate them into teaching and research.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and publications.
- Develop and revise course curriculum to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Provide students with hands-on learning opportunities through real-world case studies and projects.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for students, promoting academic excellence and ethical behavior.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
- Engage in community and industry outreach to promote the department and university's reputation.
- Assist in the recruitment and retention of students in the finance program.
- Maintain office hours and be accessible to students outside of class for academic support.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Department of Finance at the University of Colorado Boulder.
A Phd In Finance Or A Related Field From A Reputable University.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Teaching Experience At The Undergraduate Or Graduate Level.
Proven Research Record With Publications In Reputable Finance Journals.
Experience In Developing And Teaching Courses In Areas Such As Financial Markets, Investments, And Financial Management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Mentor Students.
