  1. Develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and other teaching materials in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  2. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, both in and outside of the classroom, to support their academic and professional development.
  3. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and techniques.
  4. Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program improvement efforts.
  5. Maintain an active research agenda and contribute to the department's scholarly activities.
  6. Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders and incorporate them into teaching and research.
  7. Evaluate student performance and provide timely and constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.
  8. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity and respect among students and colleagues.
  9. Engage in service activities within the department, university, and professional community.
  10. Represent the university and the department in a professional and positive manner, both on and off campus.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In Communication Sciences And Disorders Or Related Field, With A Focus On Speech-Language Pathology Or Audiology.

  • Current Certification By The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha) And Eligibility For State Licensure.

  • Proven Experience Teaching Undergraduate And/Or Graduate Courses In Communication Sciences And Disorders, With A Strong Knowledge Of Current Research And Best Practices In The Field.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In A Specialized Area Of Communication Sciences And Disorders, Such As Pediatric Speech And Language Development, Neurogenic Communication Disorders, Or Augmentative And Alternative Communication.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Mentor And Advise Students, Collaborate With Colleagues, And Engage With The Wider Academic Community Through Research And Professional Presentations.
