Budget Analyst

Execute the management of multiple fiscal functions and research administration functions while recommending policies and procedures to effectively administer the accounting and budgeting functions of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media (NSCM). Monitor NSCM for compliance with all college, university, and state based regulations. Maintain property inventory and other asset management responsibilities. Monitor payroll costs, payroll reporting, tracking worksheets, Federal Work Study students for usage of award; approve faculty, OPS, and staff hiring, dual compensation form. Make recommendations for effectiveness and financial direction for functional policies and programs. Prepare budget, make recommendations to Senior Associate Director and NSCM Director in school-wide budgeting and allocation process. Assist faculty in the identification pursuit, preparation, administration, processing and compliance of external funding; prepare, track and reconcile grant expenditures and payroll.
