Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is looking for a highly motivated and organized Program Coordinator to join our Women's Resource Center team. This individual will serve as an integral part of the team, taking on a range of responsibilities to ensure the success of the Center's programs and services. Ideal candidates will have a passion for gender justice and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all members of our community.The successful Program Coordinator will possess a variety of skills and qualifications, including: a Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies, Social Work, or a related field; a minimum of two years of program coordination experience, preferably in a university setting; and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also possess a deep understanding of gender equity issues and be committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the Women's Resource Center
  2. Develop and implement program plans to ensure the success of WRC programs and services
  3. Facilitate communication between WRC staff and stakeholders
  4. Foster an inclusive and equitable environment by creating a safe space for all members of the university community
  5. Identify and resolve potential issues related to gender equity
  6. Maintain accurate records of programs and services
  7. Develop and execute strategies to promote awareness of WRC services and initiatives
  8. Provide guidance and support to WRC staff and volunteers
  9. Support the development of educational materials related to gender equity 10.Monitor program budget and expenses
