Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and customer-service-focused Senior Complaint Resolution Officer to join the Student Affairs team at University of California, Riverside. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, addressing, and resolving complaints from students, faculty, and staff. This position requires a diligent and confident individual with excellent problem-solving skills.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in complaint resolution, coupled with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A proven track record of providing excellent customer service is essential, as is the ability to empathize with stakeholders while managing difficult conversations. The ability to remain calm in challenging situations is also critical. The Senior Complaint Resolution Officer should be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively with other staff.If you have the necessary qualifications and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, address, and resolve complaints from students, faculty, and staff.
  2. Provide excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
  3. Remain calm in challenging and difficult conversations.
  4. Organize and track complaint resolution process.
  5. Work independently and collaboratively with other staff.
  6. Maintain detailed records and documentation of complaint resolution process.
  7. Research and analyze customer service issues, complaints, and trends.
  8. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service experience.
  9. Monitor customer feedback and take appropriate action.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
