
Research Coordinator
The University of California, Riverside is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Research Coordinator to help manage and support research projects conducted by faculty and staff. The successful candidate must have a high degree of organizational and multitasking skills, and the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced research environment. We are looking for someone who is excited to take on this challenge and help us achieve our research goals.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a research-related role. Preference will be given to those with experience in grant or research administration, as well as knowledge of academic and research policies. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working independently, as well as in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
-Manage and support research projects conducted by faculty and staff -Organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced research environment -Ensure compliance with academic and research policies -Collaborate with faculty and staff on research initiatives -Identify and secure potential funding sources for research projects -Monitor research progress and report back to faculty and staff -Assist in preparing and submitting grant proposals -Maintain records of research activities -Create and present research analysis and reports -Prepare presentations to showcase research results to stakeholders -Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors -Provide administrative support to faculty and staff as needed
