Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is seeking an experienced, professional Referee Regional Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the regional referee program, providing leadership, and ensuring compliance with international, national, and regional standards. The ideal candidate must possess a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with referees, administrators, and staff. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the regional referee program and ensure compliance with international, national, and regional standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to referees, administrators, and staff
  • Develop and implement training and educational programs for referees
  • Manage referee recruitment, selection, and retention
  • Monitor referee performance and ensure adherence to rules and regulations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the regional referee program
  • Maintain records of referee assessments and evaluations
  • Liaise with governing bodies to ensure program compliance
  • Coordinate and manage referee scheduling and assignments
  • Respond to referee inquiries and complaints
  • Manage referee budgets and financial operations
  • Promote and foster a positive, professional environment for referees
