Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is seeking an experienced Project Policy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to have a lasting impact on the students, faculty, and staff at UC Riverside by developing and implementing policies that support our university's mission.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field, as well as at least three years of experience in policy analysis and project management. You must be an excellent communicator, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.If you have a passion for public policy and a commitment to helping UC Riverside become a leader in higher education, then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement policies that support the mission of UC Riverside.
  2. Analyze existing policies and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure policies are effective and efficient.
  4. Monitor and evaluate policy implementation.
  5. Research and evaluate current trends in public policy and higher education.
  6. Develop and recommend strategies to improve the university's policies and procedures.
  7. Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure policies are aligned with public policy standards.
  8. Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents related to policy analysis.
  9. Provide guidance and support to other departments on policy-related initiatives.
  10. Participate in the development of strategic initiatives that affect university policy.
