
Project Policy Analyst
The University of California, Riverside is seeking an experienced Project Policy Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to have a lasting impact on the students, faculty, and staff at UC Riverside by developing and implementing policies that support our university's mission.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field, as well as at least three years of experience in policy analysis and project management. You must be an excellent communicator, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.If you have a passion for public policy and a commitment to helping UC Riverside become a leader in higher education, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies that support the mission of UC Riverside.
- Analyze existing policies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to ensure policies are effective and efficient.
- Monitor and evaluate policy implementation.
- Research and evaluate current trends in public policy and higher education.
- Develop and recommend strategies to improve the university's policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure policies are aligned with public policy standards.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents related to policy analysis.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on policy-related initiatives.
- Participate in the development of strategic initiatives that affect university policy.
