Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is looking for a talented and creative Multimedia Graphic Designer to join our team. We’re looking for an individual who’s passionate about creating unique and effective visuals to help tell our stories and promote our products and services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and multimedia production, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. This position requires a combination of creativity, technical proficiency and the desire to work in a collaborative environment. If you have a knack for design and a passion for creating visually compelling content, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop creative, visually compelling graphics and multimedia content to promote the university's products and services.
  2. Utilize a variety of graphic design software and techniques to create multimedia presentations, webpages, videos, animations, and other digital content.
  3. Collaborate with external partners to ensure content is in sync with university's branding and messaging.
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while producing digital content.
  5. Monitor trends in digital design and media production and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Assess projects and develop timelines to ensure all deadlines are met.
  7. Work closely with marketing and communications teams to ensure all content is properly optimized for web and social media.
  8. Keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools in multimedia design.
  9. Assist in the development of website graphics, print materials, and other visual elements.
  10. Stay organized and manage multiple projects concurrently.
