Lab Assistant

As a Lab Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to faculty, students, and staff who use our laboratory facilities. 1. Assist faculty, staff, and students with laboratory activities, equipment, and protocols.
2. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.
3. Monitor laboratory stock and supplies and order items as needed.
4. Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students.
5. Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and coordinate repairs as necessary.
6. Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and ready for use.
7. Assist in the preparation of laboratory materials for classes and research projects.
8. Assist in the development of laboratory procedures and protocols.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of laboratory activities.
10. Monitor laboratory budgets and track spending.
