Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is looking for an experienced Information Systems Analyst to join our IT team. Our ideal candidate will be a problem-solver and have an eye for detail with a dedication to delivering excellent customer service. This role will require a highly knowledgeable and motivated individual with a strong background in data analysis and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends. To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze the information systems needs of the University of California, Riverside and develop plans for improvement.
  2. Work closely with the IT staff to ensure efficient and effective data systems management.
  3. Develop and implement innovative solutions to data management issues.
  4. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current technology trends in order to suggest and implement new systems and software.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Develop user manuals and training materials to ensure proper usage of data systems.
  8. Create reports and other documents to inform stakeholders of data system performance and usage.
  9. Perform ad-hoc data analysis and troubleshooting tasks, as needed.
