Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is now searching for an experienced and motivated Human Resources Director to join our team. In this key position, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the university’s Human Resources (HR) operations and providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate should have an extensive background in Human Resources management, a strong commitment to human rights and diversity, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the university’s Human Resources operations.
  2. Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on Human Resources related issues.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to Human Resources.
  4. Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
  5. Develop and implement effective Human Resources policies and procedures.
  6. Create and maintain positive employee relations.
  7. Develop and implement training and development programs.
  8. Identify and address employee performance issues.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  10. Foster a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion.
