Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is looking for an organized and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service to our faculty and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating a variety of Human Resources functions in an efficient and timely manner.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of professional experience in Human Resources, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, and knowledge of applicable federal and state laws. You should also be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. If you are passionate about providing excellent Human Resources support to our faculty and staff, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new faculty and staff.
  2. Provide guidance to faculty and staff on Human Resources processes and procedures.
  3. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws.
  4. Create and manage training programs and provide information on employee benefits.
  5. Monitor and update employee benefits programs.
  6. Respond to inquiries from employees and external stakeholders.
  7. Develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Assist with the development of performance management programs.
  10. Coordinate and facilitate meetings and other events.
