
Financial Analyst
Under direct supervision, responsible for providing analytical support for simple to moderate budget, financial or resource analysis projects. Analyzes financial and/or resource data; prepares and summarizes information and reports. Inputs data from ledgers into budget worksheets including difficult transfer entries. Prepares reports as requested. Conducts periodic financial data reconciliation and review as directed. Maintains department chart of accounts, and related business processes. Responsible for independently assessing and analyzing operating budgets and subsequently processing the necessary payroll and non-payroll costing adjustments, upon approval from the respective unit manager.

Prior experience in a university or healthcare setting performing financial tasks.
Basic knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
