
Financial Aid Counselor
Independently responsible for a specific student aid program and maintaining detailed knowledge of this specific program, including regulatory changes; assists with reviewing program policies and procedures and serves as a liaison with other offices; make recommendations on systems enhancements of the UCR Financial Aid Office processing system. Provides advice and information to current and prospective students and parents on financial aid policies, procedures, and regulations. Participates in outreach services to prospective students, parents, and the general public. Participates on standing department committees to raise issues and receive direction on practices and procedures.
2 - 4 years of related experience
Basic knowledge of policies, regulations, and practices for awarding financial aid.
