
Director of Human Resources
The University of California, Riverside (UCR) is looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and direction to our Human Resources team. As a key member of the campus leadership team, the Director of Human Resources will be responsible for directing the Human Resources functions to ensure UCR’s goals and objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in developing and managing Human Resources strategies and plans in support of a large, complex organization. The successful candidate will possess a strong sense of integrity and collaboration, as well as a commitment to creating and nurturing a diverse and inclusive work environment. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum of seven years of increasingly responsible experience in Human Resources management • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Human Resources principles, concepts, and practices • Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws, rules, and regulations • Ability to develop and implement Human Resources initiatives • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines • Knowledge of Human Resources information systems, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite or other similar software programs.
Responsibilities:
