
Development Communications Manager
The University of California, Riverside is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and creative individual to join our team as a Development Communications Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing communications strategies that support the university’s fundraising goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team that is passionate about creating meaningful, impactful campaigns that help to advance the university's mission.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, as well as a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. You should also possess strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and experience working with multiple stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage communications strategies to support the university’s fundraising goals.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful execution of communication campaigns.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop creative content for a variety of communications channels, including print, digital, and social media.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure effective communication strategies.
- Monitor the university’s progress towards its fundraising goals.
- Represent the university at various events and conferences.
- Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals.
