Job Description

The University of California, Riverside is seeking an Athletics Business Office Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in a collegiate environment and is committed to providing excellent customer service. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. The Athletics Business Office Coordinator will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial and administrative support services to the Athletics Department.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field and four years of professional experience in a business office setting. The candidate must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations and experience working with a student-athlete population is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial and administrative records for Athletics Department.
  2. Process financial transactions, including invoices and payments.
  3. Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to Athletics Department personnel and student-athletes.
  5. Monitor and track budget information for the Athletics Department.
  6. Assist with special projects as assigned.
  7. Prepare reports and analyze data.
  8. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to complete various tasks.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
