
Applications Programmer
The University of California, Riverside is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Applications Programmer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the applications used by the University. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly learn and understand the University’s applications and processes, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and develop efficient programs. We are looking for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and has excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least two years of experience in software application development. Knowledge of object-oriented design and coding is also required. Experience with database design, web development, and scripting languages is highly desirable. We also require strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
