- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to cancer data collection and reporting.
- Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the healthcare organization through accurate and timely data collection.
- Uphold a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of tumor registry work.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights and recommendations.
- Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in tumor registry.
Certified Tumor Registrar (Ctr) Credential From The National Cancer Registrars Association (Ncra).
Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management, Health Sciences, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cancer Registry Operations, Preferably In An Academic Or Research Setting.
Knowledge Of Cancer Data Collection, Coding, And Reporting Standards, Including Icd-O-3, Ajcc Staging, And Seer Guidelines.
Proficiency In Cancer Registry Software And Electronic Health Record Systems, Such As Coc Datalinks, Epic, And Oncology Data Management Systems.
