Welcome to the University of California- Irvine! We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a STEM Learning Lab Research Coordinator. As the research coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of innovative STEM learning programs for students of all ages. We are looking for someone who is passionate about promoting science, technology, engineering, and math education and has a strong background in research methodology.   1. Develop and implement innovative STEM learning programs for students of all ages.
  2. Conduct research and analyze data to inform the design and improvement of STEM learning programs.
  3. Collaborate with team members to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.
  4. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the STEM Learning Lab, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as local schools and organizations, to expand program reach and impact.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current trends and advancements in STEM education, and integrate them into program development.
  7. Train and supervise staff and volunteers involved in STEM learning programs.
  8. Ensure program materials and resources are well-organized and readily available for use.
  9. Communicate program updates and successes to stakeholders, including university leadership and external partners.
  10. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as safety protocols, in the operation of the STEM Learning Lab.
  11. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas for improving the overall program.
  12. Continuously evaluate and assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and external partners.
  14. Represent the university and the STEM Learning Lab at conferences, events, and other outreach opportunities.
  15. Uphold the university's mission to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators through STEM education.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In A Stem-Related Field, Such As Computer Science, Engineering, Or Biology.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Conducting Research In A Laboratory Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Research Methods And Data Analysis Techniques.

  • Previous Experience Coordinating Research Projects And Managing Research Teams.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Present Research Findings To Diverse Audiences.
