  1. Greet and welcome patients to the University of California, Irvine medical facilities.
  2. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
  3. Assist in the admission process by collecting patient information, verifying insurance, and completing necessary paperwork.
  4. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient operation of the medical facilities.
  5. Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits.
  6. Assist healthcare professionals with clinical tasks such as taking vitals, collecting specimens, and performing basic procedures.
  7. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
  9. Monitor and maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  10. Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  11. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
  12. Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on medical procedures and protocols.
  13. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the University of California, Irvine medical facilities.
  14. Uphold the values and mission of the organization in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient care and contribute to the overall success of the medical facilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records Systems And Proficiency In Computer Skills.

  • Completion Of A Medical Assistant Or Related Certificate Program From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification As A Medical Assistant Through A Recognized Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In A Clinical Setting.
