Welcome to the University of California- Irvine, home of the Anteaters! We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as the Intercollegiate Athletics Director of Compliance. As the Athletics Director of Compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our athletics program operates within the rules and regulations of the NCAA and other governing bodies. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to upholding the integrity of our program and committed to the success of our student-athletes.   1. Oversee and monitor all aspects of compliance for the university's athletics program.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations.
  3. Stay informed and up-to-date on all changes and updates to NCAA rules and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and staff to ensure compliance with all NCAA requirements.
  5. Conduct regular compliance audits and provide reports to university leadership.
  6. Educate and train coaches, student-athletes, and staff on NCAA compliance regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all compliance activities.
  8. Serve as the primary point of contact for all NCAA compliance related inquiries and investigations.
  9. Work with the university's compliance office to address any compliance issues or violations.
  10. Represent the university at NCAA compliance conferences and meetings.
  11. Assist with the recruitment and hiring of coaches and staff, ensuring they have a strong understanding of NCAA compliance.
  12. Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the athletics program.
  13. Stay informed about current trends and best practices in NCAA compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and offices within the university to ensure overall compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
  15. Serve as a role model for student-athletes, promoting academic and personal success in addition to athletic success.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Law, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working In A Compliance Role In Intercollegiate Athletics, Preferably At The Ncaa Division I Level.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Communicate With Coaches, Student-Athletes, And Staff.

  • Experience With Compliance Software And Systems, Such As Jumpforward Or Arms, And A Proven Track Record Of Maintaining Accurate And Organized Compliance Records.
