
HR Generalist

- Act as a resource for faculty, staff, and students on all matters related to employment, workplace culture, and HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other HR professionals to develop and implement strategies for recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as university policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and confidential information.
- Manage the onboarding and orientation process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the university community.
- Conduct training sessions on various HR topics, such as diversity and inclusion, performance evaluations, and sexual harassment prevention.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with any related inquiries or issues.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR to continually improve and enhance the university’s employment practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the university’s commitment to diversity and equity.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Hr, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Ada, Fmla, And Eeo.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With A Diverse Group Of Employees And Stakeholders.
Experience With Hris Systems, Data Analysis, And Reporting.
