
Epic Clinical Training Manager

- Develop and manage the overall Epic clinical training program for the University of California, Irvine.
- Create and implement training plans, schedules, and materials for new and existing staff to ensure a smooth transition to the Epic system.
- Coordinate with department heads and other stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure that training programs align with organizational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.
- Act as the main point of contact for all Epic training related inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses to staff.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that all staff have access to necessary resources and equipment for training.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic system updates and changes, and incorporate them into training materials as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure the most effective and relevant training methods are being utilized.
- Manage a team of trainers and provide guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality training delivery.
- Stay current with best practices in clinical training and make recommendations for continuous improvement in the training program.
- Communicate regularly with staff and management to provide updates on training progress and gather feedback for future enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to Epic training.
- Assist in the development and management of the training budget.
- Act as a role model for professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm for Epic training within the organization.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate the Epic training program to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Training And Education, Preferably In An Epic Environment.
Knowledge And Experience With Epic Software And Related Modules, Such As Clarity And Cadence.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.
Experience With Project Management And The Ability To Develop And Implement Training Programs For Large-Scale Healthcare Systems.
