  1. Perform a variety of complex laboratory tests using advanced equipment and techniques to analyze patient samples and accurately determine results in the field of Chemistry.
  2. Utilize knowledge and experience in Chemistry to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in test results.
  3. Maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in all laboratory processes, including sample handling, testing, and data analysis.
  4. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain the highest standards of quality and patient care.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the laboratory team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  6. Interpret and analyze data to provide accurate and meaningful results to assist in patient care and treatment decisions.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory tests and results, including proper documentation and reporting of any abnormalities or discrepancies.
  8. Monitor and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  9. Keep up-to-date with current developments and advancements in the field of Chemistry and implement new techniques or procedures as needed to improve laboratory processes and results.
  10. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and other members of the healthcare team to provide consultation and support regarding laboratory tests and results.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Current California State License As A Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Chemistry Or Biochemistry Department.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Experience With Quality Control And Assurance Procedures.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Troubleshoot Complex Laboratory Results.
