  1. Oversee the management of the university's capital assets, including but not limited to buildings, equipment, and other physical assets.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for the optimal performance and utilization of capital assets in alignment with the university's goals.
  3. Conduct regular reviews and analysis of capital assets to identify areas for improvement and maximize resources.
  4. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including department heads, financial managers, and external partners, to make informed decisions regarding capital assets.
  5. Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management plans and budgets.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies regarding the management of capital assets.
  7. Monitor and report on the financial performance of capital assets, identifying any potential risks or opportunities.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in capital asset management to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of capital assets.
  10. Train and mentor staff on asset management policies and procedures.
  11. Prepare and present reports and recommendations to senior management regarding capital asset management.
  12. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives for the university's capital assets.
  13. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all asset records and documentation.
  14. Collaborate with the university's sustainability initiatives to promote environmentally responsible asset management practices.
  15. Participate in the development and implementation of long-term capital asset plans for the university.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Financial Reporting And Budgeting Processes.
